Getting Started
ScreenRecord is comprised of a desktop app and a web dashboard. Follow these steps to get started with your personal account.
Web Dashboard
Getting Started
To start, go to dashboard.screenrecord.ai and create your personal account. This gives you access to your private workspace and weekly insights.
Desktop App
Installation
After setting up your account, install the desktop app on your computer. Installers for macOS and Windows can be found on our downloads page.
Login & Setup
Once installed, open the app and sign in with the same credentials you used when registering on the dashboard.
Starting Activity Tracking
To begin tracking activity:
- First ensure the status light in the bottom left is green ("Connected")
- Simply press the large start button to begin tracking
- After some time, activity should begin to be tracked
Dashboard (Viewing Activity)
There are several different ways to review your activity in the app:
Activity
- View a timeline of your activity
- Review weekly summaries and metrics for your own work
Audio
Play back your call audio and transcripts.
Chat
Talk to an AI agent about your activity data and work patterns.
Reports
- Generate activity and performance reports for any time period
- Schedule weekly report emails from your profile page
